Our Guarantee
The Breeder (Diana Davidson, Lil Darlins Chinese Imperial's & Shih Tzu) makes every effort to maintain the health of each and every puppy she raises and would never knowingly send out a puppy that was less than 100% healthy. The Breeder guarantees the general health of the pup when it leaves my home. A certificate of health will be provided by breeder's veterinarian in cases where the puppy is to ship. A full exam of the pup will be done at that time and the results will be provided to they buyer. Buyer also agrees, not to expose new puppy to places where other dogs with possible disease frequent such as dog parks, pet food stores etc. and limit exposure to visitors who may bring in things like Parvo until new pup has had their full series of shots. Buyer agrees not to allow the vet to "over vaccinate" by giving shots before breeder says they are due. The Breeder does NOT recommend giving the vaccine for lepto because of the risk of a possibly fatal reaction to this vaccine. If lepto is a problem in your area and you decide to get this shot anyway, this is at your own risk. Breeder does not recommend giving lepto in combination with ANY other shot. You must use the best judgement of you and your vet regarding the administration of the lepto vaccine.
Buyer will be made aware of any known defects the puppy has before delivery of the puppy such as hernia's or "pinched nostrils". Hernia's are not life threatening, and the pup will grow out of "pinched nostrils" usually by 4 or 5 months old, also not life threatening.
Each puppy comes with a 1 year guarantee for genetic disorders that would SERIOUSLY impact the quality of life. Two vet reports must be supplied stating the nature of the disorder. Buyer agrees in this case to return the pup to the breeder to obtain a replacement pup. Excluded from this guarantee are umbilical hernias and pinched nostrils which are common in this breed and do not affect the quality of life.
Each of our puppies come with a three year guarantee against death from a genetic related disorder. The new owner must provided written documentation from their vet after having an necropsy performed at the buyer's expense stating the cause of the puppy's death with in 48 hours of the death of the pup. The results will be sent to the Breeder's vet. If the breeder's vet agrees and approves the diagnosis, the puppy will be replaced with a puppy of the same sex and value within one year of the loss of said pup. Breeder will pay for shipping on the replacement puppy for any puppy costing more than $800.
Seller is NOT responsible for ANY vet bills incurred by the buyer. Pups must be given follow up shots in order to have full immunity and be wormed regularly. Seller is not responsible for ailments or illness due to obesity, second hand smoke, malnutrition, dehydration or lack of proper vet care or vaccinations. Seller is not responsible for reactions to vaccines.
Buyer agrees to provide adequate housing and not allow animal to run loose. Buyer agrees to find suitable home in the event buyer can no longer keep the animal.
We CANNOT and will not guarantee the adult weight or size of your new puppy. We do our best to estimate the adult size based on several factors at the time of sale. Diet and exercise may influence general weight of any dog.

Puppy will be available for pick up or shipping at no less than 8 weeks of age and no less than 2 pounds. Puppy must be paid for in full 1 week prior to shipping/delivery and no later than 8 weeks of age. Breeder reserves the right to hold puppy longer if she feels it is in the best interest of the puppy. Holding Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE should buyer decide not to buy the puppy after all. If the breeder cannot produce the puppy that the holding fee was placed on due to death or other unforeseen circumstances, the buyer has the option to pick another puppy of equal value (value to be determined by breeder) or a refund of deposit. The breeder has the right to refuse a sale of a puppy at anytime before the puppy is paid in full and a full refund of the holding fee returned if the breeder determines that this sale is not in the best interest of the puppy. Buyer must complete payment as described above before puppy can leave. If puppy is not paid for in full by the agreed upon date, buyer forfeits deposit. Puppy must be paid for in full by the age of 8 weeks, or one week before puppy is scheduled to go home unless other arrangements are made. In cases of puppies being shipped, puppy must be paid for in full ONE WEEK prior to shipping. Unless approved by breeder, all puppies are sold as pets only with limited registration and must be spayed or neutered between 6 and 8 months of age. AKC papers will be provided with limited registration only after buyer shows proof of spay/neuter. If puppy is sold or transferred before spay/neuter, seller must be notified. Subsequent owners must be informed that there are no breeding rights with this puppy. Buyer agrees to take puppy to their vet for a "well baby" check up within 72 hours of receipt of the puppy. Buyer agrees not to take puppy to places where other dogs frequent such as pet food stores, dog parks, kennels, etc. until puppy has had their full series of shots. Buyer agrees to abide by the terms of breeders guarantee in order for that guarantee to be valid. The breeder will not be responsible for vet bills or other expenses incurred by buyer.
